The main purpose of this Website is the organization, promotion and comprehensive management of events, congresses, and conferences (hereinafter, the “Events”) related to Bitcoin and associated technologies.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • The promotion and dissemination of information related to the Events within the web environment (agenda, speakers, sponsors, podcast, and Academy services).
  • The management of registrations and ticket sales for Bitcoin-related Events.
  • The facilitation of an institutional and commercial communication channel between MadBitcoin and attendees, speakers, and sponsors, as well as any other users of this environment in the broadest sense.

3. ACCEPTANCE AND USER STATUS

Access, navigation, and use of this Website, as well as the interactive areas (ticket purchases, contact forms, or product/service contracting forms), confer the status of User.

The User status implies full and express acceptance of all the terms and conditions contained in this Legal Notice, as well as the Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy, from the very moment the Website is accessed.

MadBitcoin reserves the right to modify, at any time and without prior notice, the presentation, configuration, and content of the Website and these conditions. The User acknowledges and accepts that it is their responsibility to periodically review this Legal Notice.

4. USER OBLIGATIONS AND CONDUCT

The User agrees to make lawful, diligent, honest, and proper use of the Website and of all information or content to which they have access, acting in good faith and in compliance at all times with the applicable law and this Legal Notice.

The Cookies Policy specifies the third parties providing payment gateways for MadBitcoin’s products and services.

b) Inbound links: The establishment of hyperlinks to the Website from third-party pages containing illegal, unlawful, or degrading content, or content contrary to law, morality, or public order, is strictly prohibited. 10. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

The relationship between MadBitcoin and the User shall be governed by current Spanish legislation.

For the resolution of any disputes or conflicts that may arise, both parties, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction, submit to the Courts and Tribunals of Madrid (Spain).

The above shall not apply when the User is considered a consumer, in which case the mandatory forum provided by the applicable consumer protection legislation shall prevail.

11. MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS

a) Partial nullity: If any clause or provision of this Legal Notice is declared null or unenforceable, in whole or in part, by any competent judicial or administrative body, such nullity or unenforceability shall not affect the remaining provisions, which shall remain fully valid and effective.

b) No waiver: The failure or omission by MadBitcoin to exercise any right or provision contained in this Legal Notice shall not constitute a waiver thereof, unless expressly acknowledged and agreed in writing.

c) Headings: The headings of the various clauses are for information purposes only and shall not affect, qualify, or extend the interpretation of this Legal Notice.
