1. ORGANIZER IDENTIFIER.
This document governs the purchase of tickets for the MadBitcoin Summit 2026 event, organized by MadBitcoin, based in Madrid (Spain).

2. ACCEPTANCE AND SCOPE.
These conditions govern the purchase of tickets for the event to be held at IFEMA, Madrid, from May 9 to 12, 2026. The purchase implies full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
By making a purchase on the MadBitcoin Summit website, the buyer (hereinafter, the “Client”) freely, voluntarily and expressly accepts these Terms and Conditions (T&C). Acceptance will be manifested by a visible, non-pre‑checked checkbox in the purchase/payment form.
These T&C apply to the sale of tickets, passes, services and goods related to the event, unless specific conditions expressly modify any clause during the purchase process. Likewise, in connection with our privacy and cookies policies, the data corresponding to the profile created by each client or collaborator for the provision of services or acquisition of other goods or products are set out.
3. DEFINITIONS.
- Ticket: the right to access the MadBitcoin Summit on the contracted date(s) and modality(ies).
- Products: physical goods sold through the event store (merchandising, etc.).
- Services: benefits not physically consumed (e.g., access to conferences and services described on the website).
- PSP / Payment Gateway: entities responsible for processing payments (Getnet, Bit2Me or others).
- Data processing: any operation or set of operations performed on personal data subject to the policies described at https://madbitcoinsummit.com/terms.
4. PURCHASE PROCESS AND CONTRACT FORMATION.
The online purchase process includes: selection of product/services/ticket, completion of personal and billing data, acceptance of these T&C via checkbox, and submission of payment by the chosen method.
Purchase confirmation and the resulting formation of the contract occur when the Client receives a confirmation email from the Organizer with the order summary. Until then, the purchase will be considered in process and pending acceptance by the Organizer/PSP.
5. PAYMENT GATEWAYS AND PROCESSING.
To process payments, at the time of publication of these T&C the Organizer uses the following two entities:

At the event, it is the provider of bitcoin payment services and final conversion into euros. It is authorized by the CNMV as a crypto‑asset service provider (CASP) under Regulation (EU) 2023/1114 (MiCA), by resolution of July 28, 2025.
General Terms
In accordance with applicable regulations on payment services and crypto‑asset services, PSPs and crypto‑asset service providers may request KYC/AML data and verifications before or during the execution of the payment. Financial and card information is managed by the aforementioned entities; the Organizer never has access to full card data.
Card payments are subject to strong customer authentication (SCA) procedures as required by PSD2 / the Payment Services Law. Providers must also meet security standards (e.g., PCI‑DSS, where applicable).
The Client accepts that payment may involve conversion of cryptocurrencies to euros by Bit2Me or another provider if offered; any conversion costs or additional fees will be disclosed at the time of payment.
6. PRICES, TAXES AND INVOICING.
Prices shown include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Shipping costs, where applicable, will be displayed separately before confirming the purchase.
Invoicing: at the Client’s request an invoice will be issued based on the data provided, in addition to the simplified receipt.
The Organizer will send the invoice by email unless otherwise agreed.
7. DELIVERY OF TICKETS, PRODUCTS OR OTHER SERVICES. SHIPPING POLICY.

Digital tickets. By default, tickets will be electronic and sent to the email provided by the Client after payment confirmation. The Client is responsible for providing a valid email address.

Physical tickets or merchandise: if the Client purchases physical goods or requests postal delivery of tickets, the Organizer will indicate estimated timeframes and costs. Indicative shipping times: between 7 and 15 business days from order confirmation, unless otherwise stated.
The Organizer will not be responsible for delays caused by the carrier, incorrect shipping data provided by the Client, or force majeure.
The purchaser is responsible for checking receipt of emails and safeguarding all physical or digital documentation related to the contracting of products and/or services.
8. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND RETURNS.
In accordance with Article 103.l) of the Spanish General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users (Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007), the right of withdrawal does not apply to the purchase of tickets for events with a specific date. Nevertheless, the Organizer may, in good faith, consider exceptional requests to change the name on the ticket or to process a refund.
- 1. Tickets / Services related to leisure activities (EXCEPTION): under the rules on the right of withdrawal for distance contracts, the right of withdrawal does not apply to services related to leisure activities with a specific date or period of performance, including tickets to shows and events. Therefore, the purchase of a ticket for the MadBitcoin Summit will not be subject to withdrawal once purchased, except in cases of cancellation or modification by the Organizer.

Cancellations or changes by the Organizer: if the event is fully canceled by the Organizer, Clients will be entitled to a refund of the amount paid or, if offered and accepted by the Client, relocation/a ticket for the new date. If the event is postponed, the applicable policy will be as indicated by the Organizer in the communication to the Client (refund or vouchers, at the Client’s choice where legally applicable).
- 3. Physical products (merchandise): for physical goods other than tickets, the Client will have a right of withdrawal of fourteen (14) calendar days from receipt of the goods, except for legal exceptions.
- 4. Refund procedure: refunds, where applicable, will be made using the same means of payment used by the Client within a reasonable period (usually 14 business days) from acceptance of the return or confirmation of cancellation, unless a different legal obligation applies.
9. CHANGES TO CONDITIONS AND LIABILITY OF MADBITCOIN SUMMIT.

The Organizer reserves the right to modify these T&C for legal, security or operational reasons, providing visible notice on the website. Modifications will not affect already‑confirmed orders unless expressly determined.

Limitation of liability: except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence, the Organizer’s liability for damages arising from attendance at the event will be limited to the cases contemplated by applicable regulations and to the effective amount paid by the Client for the corresponding product/ticket.

The Organizer reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions, provided that purchases already made are not affected.
10. CLIENT’S RESPONSIBILITY.
- The purchaser must provide truthful and complete data.
- Unauthorized ticket resale is prohibited.
- Access to the event requires presentation of the digital ticket and a valid identity document.
11. PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING UNDER OUR PRIVACY POLICY.
Personal data will be processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy available at https://madbitcoinsummit.com/privacy-policy. Payment data will be managed directly by Getnet Europe and/or Bit2Me, without access by the Organizer.

Purposes and legal bases. We process your personal data for the following purposes and legal bases (see the policy at the link above):
1. Contractual and administrative management of ticket purchases.
Purpose: issuing tickets, order management, invoicing, payment verification and customer service.
Legal basis: performance of a contract and pre‑contractual measures (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
2. Fraud prevention, KYC/AML compliance and legal obligations.
Purpose: verifying identity where necessary, complying with anti‑money laundering obligations (Law 10/2010) and regulatory obligations applicable to PSPs.
Legal basis: compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c GDPR) and, where applicable, legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) for system security, provided the rights and freedoms of the data subject do not prevail.
3. Execution of payments by PSPs (Getnet and Bit2Me).
See the purpose of each in the links in clause 5 above.
Purpose: enabling the processing and settlement of payment by the PSP, including crypto‑to‑FIAT conversions if applicable.
Legal basis: performance of a contract and compliance with legal obligations by PSPs.
4. Communication of information relevant to the event.
Purpose: sending necessary information about the event, schedule changes, cancellations or operational incidents.
Legal basis: performance of the contract and, where appropriate, legitimate interest.
5. Preservation and security of records (logs, CCTV on premises, access control).
Purpose: ensuring event security, incident investigation and evidence for claims.
Legal basis: legitimate interest and, where applicable, compliance with legal obligations.
6. Categories of data processed.
- Identification data: name, surname, NIF/CIF where necessary for invoicing; postal and email address.
- Contact data: email, phone.
- Payment data: transaction identifiers, information necessary for PSP processing (the Organizer will not receive full card data except in tokenization scenarios or where the PSP expressly authorizes it).
- KYC/AML data: ID copy, proof of address or other documentation when required by PSP or legal obligations.

12. APPLICABLE LAW. JURISDICTION AND FINAL PROVISIONS.
These conditions are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be submitted to the Courts and Tribunals of Madrid (Spain).
Express consent: By checking the acceptance box and proceeding to payment, the buyer declares that they have read, understood and fully accepted these Terms and Conditions.
If any clause of these T&C is deemed null or unenforceable, the remaining clauses will remain in force.
